DIY Reuse Wrapping Paper Leftovers

Personally, I love wrapping presents. Whether it's for Christmas, birthdays or other occasions - it's just fun!

Often there are some scraps of wrapping paper left over. Some people think it's too good to throw away, but what can you do with it?

Here I would like to give you a few ideas of what you can do with the leftovers:

Stars:

Small scraps are enough to fold stars. There are so many different options and you can find lots of instructions online.

I made these stars and they are perfect as window decorations, for the table or as additional decoration for gifts.

Would you like instructions for the stars? Then leave me a comment and I will send you a PDF.

Bookmark:

Narrow strips can be used wonderfully in bookmarks. To make them more stable, I recommend laminating the strips - or alternatively stiffening them at the front and back with transparent adhesive tape.

Then simply punch a hole at the top, thread a pretty ribbon or string through and you have a bookmark that makes a great little gift.

Gift boxes:

If you are a bit more skilled at folding paper, you can also make cute gift boxes out of the leftovers. You can then use these to package small gifts or for storage.

Gift tags:

Similar to bookmarks, you can also make gift tags. You don't always have to buy them, you can make them yourself really quickly and they match the wrapping paper perfectly.

Greeting cards:

With a little skill, you can also make greeting cards using leftover paper. Let your creativity run wild!
