Eggnog Cake

Juicy with the full flavor of eggnog - the eggnog Guglhupf is simply delicious.

Here I have 2 very simple recipes for you!



Recipe 1


Ingredients:
  • 220g flour

  • 1 pack vanilla pudding powder

  • 1 pack baking powder

  • 250g powdered sugar

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 250ml neutral oil

  • 200ml eggnog

  • 5 eggs


Preparation:
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom.

  • Grease the Bundt pan and dust with flour.

  • Mix flour, pudding powder and baking powder - add powdered sugar, salt and oil.

  • Mix everything into a smooth dough.

  • Finally, add the egg liqueur and eggs and mix everything until frothy for at least 2 minutes.

  • Pour the batter into the tin and bake for about 60 minutes, then let it cool for about 15 minutes, turn it out onto a wire rack and let it cool completely.




Recipe 2


Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs

  • 400g flour

  • 200g sugar

  • 120ml eggnog

  • 70ml milk

  • 190ml neutral oil

  • 1 pack of vanilla sugar

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 pinch of salt


Preparation:
  • Grease and flour the bundt cake tin and preheat oven to 160 degrees

  • Beat eggs with sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy

  • Add egg liqueur, oil and milk and continue beating

  • Finally, fold in the flour, salt and baking powder, preferably by hand

  • Pour the dough into the pan and bake for about 55 minutes

  • Turn the finished cake out onto a wire rack and let it cool
