Greek-style chicken with baked potatoes

This is a very tasty, fresh dish that takes you to Greece.

Juicy chicken breast, vegetables, baked potato, fresh salad and creamy dip.




Ingredients:
  • 250g chicken breast

  • 1 lemon

  • salt, pepper, paprika, garlic

  • 400g potatoes

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 onion

  • 1 red pepper

  • 1 cucumber

  • 100g yogurt

  • 1 tomato

  • 100g shepherd's cheese/feta cheese/salad cheese

  • Parsley


Preparation:
  • Cut the meat into bite-sized pieces and place them in a bowl.

  • Juice half a lemon, pour it over the meat and add spices (salt, pepper, paprika, garlic)

  • Mix everything together and set aside

  • Cut the unpeeled potatoes into quarters or eighths depending on their size and place them in a bowl

  • Add 2 tablespoons of oil and spices (salt, pepper, paprika, garlic) to the potato and mix well

  • The potatoes are now spread on a baking tray lined with baking paper and baked for about 25-30 minutes at 170 degrees until golden brown

  • Press the 2 garlic cloves until the skin loosens slightly and bake with the potatoes for 10 minutes - then remove and let cool

  • Cut 1/2 onion into 2cm pieces, cut the peppers into 2cm pieces and fry everything together with the chicken pieces in a pan for 6-8min

  • Put the yogurt into a small bowl and press in the cooled garlic - season with salt and pepper and a little lemon juice

  • Cut the remaining onion, cucumber and tomato into strips and place in a bowl

  • Finely chop the parsley, crumble the cheese and add it to the onion, cucumber and tomato along with salt, pepper and lemon juice - mix everything well


Now everything can be arranged on the plate!
